Dentsu Benelux appoints Boris Nihom as new CEO

Dentsu Benelux proudly announces the appointment of Boris Nihom as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective as of 1 January 2025. Boris succeeds Mark van Dijk, who will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for dentsu in Northern Europe.

Boris transitions from his role as co-CEO of Dentsu Creative Amsterdam to CEO of dentsu Benelux. In this role, he will oversee the entire dentsu network in the Benelux region, consisting of Creative, Media, and CXM (under the name Merkle, a dentsu company). As a strategist and people leader, Boris brings extensive experience in the advertising and media industry. His focus will be on driving integrated growth solutions and innovation for dentsu's clients and partners.

Mark van Dijk, who has led dentsu Benelux for the past five years, will remain closely involved in dentsu’s international strategic development in his new role as COO for Northern Europe.

In addition to the appointment of Boris Nihom, Sven Vening will continue as CEO of Dentsu Creative Amsterdam. Under Sven’s strong leadership, the creative division of the company will continue to grow and offer innovative ideas to clients.
