There is a gap between Americans’ confidence in the future of health, and their current experience with healthcare in the U.S.
Americans are optimistic for the future of healthcare: 67% believe the medical establishment will make progress against and find cures for incurable diseases in the next decade and 60% say that Covid-19 has increased their faith in the U.S. healthcare system. However, as many as 80% of respondents told us the current cost of healthcare in the U.S. is overpriced and only 15% trust the American healthcare system to act with their best interests at heart.
