Joe Lamoureux
Senior Director, Alliances – Google at Merkle
Joe Lamoureux manages Merkle’s Google Alliance in North America, which spans across both the Google Cloud Platform and the Google Marketing Platform. He’s responsible for the development of new business opportunities and solutions that leverage both Merkle and Google capabilities to drive value at the largest enterprises in the US.
Joe has more than 10 years of experience managing alliances across a spectrum of organization types; from large agency to tech startup. He’s driven by the challenge of identifying and executing complex business development opportunities that create value for multiple stakeholders and organizations.
Prior to joining Merkle, Joe oversaw the Google Alliance and other independent software partner and channel partnerships at Quantum Metric, a billion-dollar digital experience optimization tech startup.
Previously, Joe spent six years as the founder of an angel-backed sports-tech startup. Here he led all strategic alliances including pro athlete endorsement deals, marketing partnerships with sports and fitness brands, and integrations with sports-tech companies.
Earlier in his career, Joe worked in various client-facing roles in investment banking and corporate wind-downs and liquidations.
Joe holds an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurship. He conducted his undergraduate studies at Bentley University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and played on the men’s varsity soccer team.
