Dentsu Aegis Network appoints Pippa Glucklich as CEO of Amplifi UK
Dentsu Aegis Network today announces the appointment of Pippa Glucklich as CEO of Amplifi UK, the group’s media innovation and investment arm.
In her role starting in May, Pippa will lead all four business divisions of Amplifi, which includes: Investment, Media Partnerships, Amnet (Programmatic) and The Story Lab (Entertainment Content).
Pippa brings a wealth of industry experience and an outstanding commercial and operational track record. Most recently, she stepped down from her role as CEO of Starcom after five years, where she drove significant growth, both organically and through new business successes such as Lidl, P&O Ferries and Etihad.
Pippa is passionate about the industry and its people and has been involved in numerous industry bodies and initiatives in her 25+ year career. Passionate about diversity, inclusion and wellbeing, she is an active member of WACL and is currently Vice President, taking over as President of the club in July. She is also a trustee of industry charity NABS .
Pippa replaces Matthew Platts, to whom she will report in his new role of CEO of Media Brands across Dentsu Aegis Network UK& Ireland. In this newly created role, Matthew will be responsible for accelerating the integration of the Network’s media and data capabilities, inspiring innovation and enabling clients to benefit from greater collaboration across the agencies. As a result, all Dentsu Aegis Network’s media agency leaders across Amplifi, Carat, Vizeum, iProspect, and Fetch will now report into Platts.
Matthew starts his new role immediately and continues to report into Stef Calcraft, Executive Chairman, Dentsu Aegis Network UK & Ireland.
