Mannings, a premier health and beauty chain in Hong Kong, Macau, and Southern China, aimed to revolutionize their supplier networking event. Seeking a fresh approach, they aimed to showcase their strengths, foster new business opportunities, and engage suppliers with interactive capabilities.

The Challenge
Mannings was hosting a closed-door event to network with their suppliers but were looking for a new way of introducing Mannings. They wanted to engage their suppliers, reassure them of their capabilities and secure new business opportunities, all while wanting interactive capabilities to highlight the ‘new Mannings’.
The Solution
To communicate Mannings’ efforts in sustainability, digitalisation of POSM, expanding footprint, and more, we ideated a city theme for the event and designed the KVs. Based off the theme, we developed an interactive mobile game with customisable avatars and buildings. Each building, created by suppliers, featured a branded billboard, representing the brands that build Mannings City together. Mannings City was displayed on a 3x5 ft LED video wall, with real-time updates. We also adapted all assets for the event from invites to physical games, and managed the event experience.
The Results
Over 100 suppliers interacted with the Mannings City game, with many taking photos with their branded building on the LED video wall. All events assets were cohesive, creating a seamless Mannings experience. After the event, the client continues to have ad-hoc adaptations for the Mannings City creatives.

The Mannings City event redefined supplier engagement, demonstrating how strategic interactivity can elevate brand connections and loyalty. By merging gamification with Mannings’ core values, we transformed a routine event into a powerful moment of connection. This event illustrated Mannings’ commitment to partnership, sustainability, and digital growth, creating an enduring foundation of trust and shared purpose among suppliers.
