George Patten and Lauren Walker announced as Regional Operating Officer APAC and EMEA
Patten and Walker appointed to regional roles focused on business processes and global consistency in response to changing client needs.
June 4, 2019: George Patten has been appointed as Regional Operating Officer for Dentsu Aegis Network APAC, as part of the continuing transformation of the business, to enable a more seamless and cohesive approach to client service that is data-driven, ideas-led and tech-enabled. Having spent his early career in roles at OMD and PHD, George joins from Accenture where he has spent the last 15 years, most recently leading the Accenture Interactive Operations business, building marketing-led growth for clients across South East Asia.
Lauren Walker is promoted into the role of Regional Operating Officer for EMEA. Lauren joined Dentsu Aegis Network in 2017 from IBM, and as Chief Data Officer, EMEA has led the region’s transformation as a data-driven organisation, with an integrated team of over 500 people across market research, social science, digital and data science and engineering.
Neil Gissler, who joined Dentsu Aegis Network in 2016 continues in the role of Regional Operating Officer, Americas.
All three will report jointly to the Global President Business Operations, Volker Doberanzke, who joined Dentsu Aegis Network in March this year and their respective Dentsu Aegis Network Regional CEO (Takaki Hibino, Executive Chairman Dentsu Aegis Network APAC; Giulio Malegori Dentsu Aegis Network CEO, EMEA; and Nick Brien, Dentsu Aegis Network CEO Americas & US).
