Samantha founded dentsu in Kenya in 2010, and with the help of her partners has grown the agency to the largest in Kenya with over 40 clients and employing over 100 talented IMC specialists.
She has over 14 years experience in IMC strategy, media and managing high performance teams across blue chip clients like Safaricom, Diageo, Standard Chartered, Absa and the Coca Cola Company.
For her recent accolades, she is very proud to be the winning recipient of the global award for Future is Female by Adweek hosted in Johannesburg in 2023 (a first for the continent).
From a local perspective, she is the only nominee to have ever won the Top 40 Women Under 40 by NMG (2018 & 2023).
She has also been voted among the Top 20 CEO’s in Kenya by Business Monthly East Africa in 2021 and one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women in Marketing in 2022. Dentsu Kenya also won the 2022 Media Agency of The Year at the Pitcher Africa Awards in Nigeria which is an accolade she is hugely proud of.
When asked what motivates her, her response was “People, plain and simple – we are in a unique position in our line of work to truly effect change in people’s lives, whether that’s through the products we help to create, the culture that we amplify or the job opportunities we give people through our support of vibrant, high performing companies. That’s what get’s me out of bed in the morning, knowing that we are true champions for finding and driving “the good” in our corner of the world”.
