Ruschda Ismail
Chief Finance Officer, dentsu Africa
Ruschda Ismail has been serving as the Chief Financial Officer for dentsu Africa since July 2023. Before taking on this role, she held the position of CFO for dentsu South Africa from July 2016. Her financial career spans over a decade, including two years as Finance Director at Dentsu Creative (formerly John Brown South Africa) and ten years in various financial management roles at Media24.
She is a Chartered Accountant by profession who graduated from the University of Cape Town and completed her Honours Degree at The University of KZN. She completed her articles at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She serves as an Executive Director on number of boards including John Brown South Africa and FoxP2 Holdings.
True to form, Ruschda oversees all things financial at dentsu Africa, she is an experienced Chief Financial Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the marketing and advertising industry. Ruschda's extensive knwoledge and experience in finance strategy, accounting, group accounts, internal controls, tax and financial reporting is unrivalled. She is highly driven and thrives on the challenge of streamlining processes to maximise efficiencies. She is also passionate about helping people develop their skills and realise their potential.
