In its inaugural event, The Silverback Awards, by the Uganda Advertisers Association, named dentsu Uganda as the ultimate winner in the Media Campaign of the Year for 2022 category. This award celebrates the most inspiring and innovative implementation of ideas, creative work, with exceptional strategy, targeting and media execution.
Samuel Rubanga, Managing Director, dentsu Uganda said, “This is an incredible accolade and acknowledges the brilliant, connected and consumer driving Club Pilsener Can launch campaign for our client Nile Breweries (AB InBev) and the superb work of all involved. This was also a perfect example of what collaboration between the client, media agency, creative agency and media owner can achieve. I could not be prouder and 2023 is going to be the year we accelerate our excellence and bring many clients products and services directly to the consumers through innovation and creativity”.
These creative and media awards recognise and uplift creative work that shapes the creative advertising space in the country, bringing the creatives of Uganda onto the global stage. The event took place on 12 November in Kampala, Uganda.
