Dentsu has globally released a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion deep-dive report that walks through the DEO
Report looks at DEI from multiple angles: from women leadership amount, our regional Chief Equity Officer structure, and multiple programs we have with our own talent. Such programs include for example investing in diverse talent, upskilling in cultural fluency, and building communities continue to increase representation of women, people from underrepresented groups, and are transforming client outcomes.
Dentsu continues to invest in employee development with 1900 people in career accelerator and mentorship programs, including dentsu-created “Path of Tabei” and “Game Changing Talent”.
DEI agenda is crucial also for dentsu's clients so they can authentically connect with – and accurately represent –diverse audiences, unlock growth and remain competitive in an increasingly changing market.
Dentsu has continued to win awards for DEI strategy and activations, for example:
- 2022 being the highest placed media group on the rigorous Stonewall Top 100 employer list (UK) now for three years in a row,
- Dentsu’s first-of-its-kind audio series, “More Than That with Gia Peppers”, with 100% Black-owned partners, on top of numerous awards from 2020 and 2021, in 2022 won Microsoft Advertising’s “ Marketing with Purpose” category in 2022, and AdWeek’s Podcast of the Year awards for “Best in Diversity & Inclusion Podcast”
- Dentsu Creative’s ground-breaking “Unfiltered History Tour” work for Vice Media, showing disputed artifacts through AR at the British History Museum, made history at Cannes Lions as the most successful Indian campaign in the history of Cannes Lions, and earned Dentsu Creative “Agency of the Year”
