Dentsu wins MediaMarkt media pitch
Amsterdam, 3 April 2023 - MediaMarkt has chosen to work with media agency dentsu after a thorough pitch process. MediaMarkt had issued a media pitch in which six agencies were invited to participate. The pitch was supervised by Geert Debruyne and Henk Plessius of fma.
MediaMarkt has many ambitions including increasing its market share and maintaining its leadership in brand awareness. In 2021, MediaMarkt was moving to a Benelux structure. Consequently, one of the key selection criteria was the ability of the future agency to develop an integrated approach across all markets.
Dentsu's Benelux organisation and their ability to expand reach through the team's insights, strategy and passion were decisive in the final decision. From May 2023, dentsu will be responsible for off- and online media strategy, media planning and buying, and it goes without saying that branding and performance media will be optimally integrated.
