A seasoned communication professional, Anindita Sarkar has over 15 years of experience in media and advertising. A graduate from Miranda House - Delhi University, her love for media led her to pursue a course in the prestigious National School of Drama. Anindita soon realised that she did not just want to understand the creatives of this industry but also the business of it all. Eventually, after acquiring an MBA from the International School of Business and Media, a long stint in journalism followed.
Indiantelevision.com, the pioneer digital trade medium reporting on the business of media and television, was her first employer. Anindita gradually grew as a journalist of repute with her business pieces and interesting perspectives. Soon, she moved up the ladder - from a Sub Editor in indiantelevision.com to Special Correspondent in Afaqs! and then, The Financial Express. The latter companies helped Anindita broaden her horizon from the specifics of business journalism and broadcast to the entire gamut of media and advertising in India and beyond.
In January 2015, Anindita came on board to lead the then newly-established Corporate Communications function for dentsu (erstwhile Dentsu Aegis Network) in India. And there has been no looking back since. Anindita continues to oversee the communication needs of the Group in India that has today grown into a massive network powerhouse.
