As we celebrate five years of Dentsu Aegis Network, we hear from the people who have been here since day one about their personal journeys and what they’re looking forward to in the future.
We spoke to Fiona Lloyd, Managing Director and Global Client President, Carat, about her experience over the last five years.
Tell us a little about your journey at Dentsu Aegis Network since its foundation in 2013…
I joined Aegis Media in 2004 working in Carat International. Since the formation of Dentsu Aegis Network in 2013 I have held 4 roles, Global Client President on adidas, Executive Client Officer in Carat UK, Chief Marketing Officer for Carat globally and now Managing Director and Global Client President.
Having been a member of the network since Day 1, which have been the biggest milestones for you?
Taking a pivot in my career from client leadership to functional leadership.
What are you most proud of?
The teams I have built and watching them go from strength to strength
What do you think are the key challenges & opportunities that lie ahead for our industry?
The opportunity to redefine the value of our discipline for clients, making brave disruptive decisions and driving change flawlessly with speed.
Why is DAN best positioned to win over the next 5 years?
Culture. We made the pivot to an organisation who can put clients at the heart of our group a long time ago. Building a culture that supports that takes time and there is no shortcut to that. We started our journey earlier than our competitors and we are ahead.
What are you most excited about when it comes to the future of DAN?
Our new business momentum in the media brands excites me. The briefs in the market are for clients wanting business transformation from our discipline, there are some big questions being asked of media agencies, seeing clients buying what we have spent the last five years building gets me excited about our future.
