Tom Higgins
Chief Operating Officer, dentsu EMEA
Tom started his career as a Scientific Officer with the Ministry of Defence, he holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Mathematical Physics from University College Dublin and an MBA from Henley Management College and has attended INSEAD’s International Executive Development Programme in Fontainebleau and Singapore.
Tom has also held several country directorships and executive leadership positions in Dell Corporation, Perot Systems, and Sun Microsystems. Immediately prior to joining dentsu, Tom was Vice President and General Manager for Unisys EMEA, a global IT Services, Technology and Business Process Outsourcing business where he was responsible for EMEA sales growth, client satisfaction, business transformation, creating commercial discipline and embedding robust operational processes and structures.
Tom joined dentsu in June 2020 as EMEA’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and holds responsibility for running operations and supporting market growth as well as overseeing the region’s transformation. In addition to Tom’s COO role, he also fulfils one of two integration director roles who are responsible for the facilitation of the integration of Dentsu Japan Network and dentsu international. Since joining dentsu, Tom’s core focus areas and successes have included embedding the operational basics across EMEA to provide our business leaders with relevant business insights, developing the COO community across EMEA and driving a number of business-critical programmes across the region.
