Sławomir Stepniewski
CEO, dentsu Central Europe and Poland
Sławomir is the CEO for Central Europe and Poland, having been appointed to the role in January 2025. The newly formed Central Europe Cluster, comprising key markets such as Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Croatia, has been recently realigned to better meet clients' needs and achieve scale in the region.
Sławomir is a seasoned industry leader with over 30 years’ experience having established one of the first Polish interactive agencies, Hypermedia, in 1996. For the last five years, he has led the Central Eastern European Cluster, during which time, the cluster has achieved remarkable growth, in the face of a challenging geopolitical time for the region.
Prior to this, in 2008, Sławomir was the CEO at Isobar Polska & CEE, and by 2011, he was appointed to the position of CEO of the Aegis Media group in Poland, now known as dentsu Polska. In 2022, dentsu Polska was appointed the Advertising Group of the Year by the editors of Media & Marketing Polska.
Sławomir has been the recipient of a number of industry awards, including the "Reformer of the Year" award from "Media & Marketing Polska" magazine in 2012, and the "AdMan of 5 years" accolade from "Press" magazine in 2017. In 2021, he was honoured with the "Leaders of tomorrow" award by the ICAN Institute.
