Chris ter Welle has been with dentsu for over eight years and has held several senior Finance roles throughout his career at dentsu, from CFO Northern Europe to Regional Controller for EMEA where his focus was to strengthen the control environment in the region. In his most recent role of Deputy Group Controller, Chris led the integration of the Controllership and Operational Finance processes and teams across all markets to set up a robust control environment and developing the Controllership Center of Excellence. In July 2023 he assumed the responsibility as CFO of EMEA.
As CFO, dentsu EMEA, his key role is to ensure flawless execution of operational finance activities, create a robust control environment and provide business support & insights to deliver on continuous profitable growth in the EMEA region., with a clear focus on cash generation! His experience across the different finance pillars and on the ground business experience in combination with his passion for collaboration, driving excellence and clear view on the future state of finance will contribute to delivering on the EMEA ambitions.
Chris started his career at Nestle Netherlands as marketing and cost controller and had several senior financial roles at a scientific content publisher and agent before joining dentsu.
