Intern Diary

How did you feel during your first week?
Starting my first week at dentsu was an experience I was both excited and nervous for. However, from the moment I met Ciara, she made me feel welcome and introduced me to the work and all the teams.
What was it like to join a company hybrid?
dentsu Ireland is fully hybrid so I chose to be in the office four days a week. I really appreciated having the option to work from either the office or home.
What have you learned, and enjoyed doing?
As I come to the end of my five-month internship, I know that the fast-paced marketing industry is an environment I want to be a part of! I've worked on a wide range of projects here at dentsu and it has shown me that marketing is such a broad and diverse field - this is something I really appreciate as I found myself constantly learning about the industry, brands, and new technology.
Can you give a quick summary of your key responsibilities?
My main responsibilities included managing dentsu Ireland's website and social media accounts (Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook), creating content for Inside Marketing, (a podcast produced by dentsu in collaboration with the Irish Times), preparing reports, conducting market research for upcoming pitches, preparing presentations and event planning.
Everyone I've met and worked with here at dentsu Ireland has been so friendly.
I am so grateful to have been around so many wonderful people. A special thank you to Ciara McKeown, Dave Winterlich, Kate O'Connell, John Urch, Liam McDonnell, Lorraine Kinsella, and Michelle Gallogley for allowing me to be a part of your projects.
