- Guang Cui appointed CEO of Dentsu Creative China; continues as Chief Business Officer for dentsu China Japanese Client Business.

Brands & Practices
Guang Cui has been appointed CEO, Dentsu Creative China, while maintaining his role as the Chief Business Officer for dentsu China Japanese Client Business. With over two decades of experience in marketing strategy, brand consulting, and integrated marketing across Japan and China. In this role, he will be instrumental in reinvigorating dentsu’s Japanese Client Business in China and realizing the full potential of "One dentsu" in Dentsu Creative.
Cindy Lee has been promoted to CEO, Dentsu Creative East China, Cindy's unwavering dedication to innovation and excellence in client leadership has been pivotal in shaping dentsu’s creative services over the years. She has led her teams to consistently deliver transformative creative experiences for brands and consumers. In past years, she was the leader of the Isobar China team. With her proven track record of delivering exceptional growth and fostering a culture of collaboration, Cindy will elevate dentsu’s cross-practice client value in East China to even greater heights.
With over 20 years of industry experience, Tommy Li, has been appointed CEO, dentsu Media China. Tommy’s focus is on transforming and elevating dentsu’s Media business, its brands (including Carat, iProspect, dentsu X) and practice capabilities, solutions, ecosystem partnerships and talent across the board. With his leadership of all the business units and teams across the media business, Tommy will further realize dentsu’s Media business’ crucial role as the flywheel of growth for clients.
In addition, Jeffery Cao, Vice President, Amplifi China, has been appointed as the leader for Trading and Investment for dentsu China, leveraging his 20+ years of experience and expertise in the industry. Furthermore, Laurien Lee, CEO, iProspect China will take on an expanded leadership role to foster growth across the media business.
Derek Huang, as Practice President, CXM and CEO, Merkle China, will continue to spearhead the modernization and enhancement of dentsu’s capabilities across experience, data, analytics, AI, CRM, loyalty and technology in the market. Chris Chen continues in his role as Chief Creative Officer, dentsu China and Practice President, Creative and will embed transformational creativity across all of our client services.
Tommy, Derek and Chris, as dentsu’s core Practice Leaders, will collaborate to further differentiate and integrate dentsu's services to be Ideas-Led, AI-Powere and Values-Driven, delivering unparalleled growth and transformational value to our clients.
Integrated Strategy and Solutions
Richard Frampton a dentsu veteran returns as Chief Strategy Officer, dentsu China and joins the Senior Leadership Team. Richard will lead the vision and strategy for dentsu China’s client portfolio, building integrated, end-to-end solutions that drive client growth, profitability, and satisfaction.
Richard brings almost 20 years of experience building strategies that merge data-driven insights and creative problem-solving, partnering with prolific brands including Coca-Cola, Danone, Lululemon, Microsoft, Ferrero, Airbnb, BMW/MINI, Mondelez and L’Oréal. An enabler and collaborator, he is a firm believer in the power of marketing transformation fit for the modern ecosystem through consumer centricity, data, and technology. He will draw upon his deep understanding of the evolving marketplace to help dentsu’s clients navigate an increasingly complex environment and achieve their growth ambitions through tailored, impactful end-to-end solutions.
Driving brand growth through the dentsu China enterprise
Ami Qian has been appointed to a newly established role as Chief Transformation and Marketing Officer, dentsu China. Ami will lead the transformation of the dentsu China enterprise as well as overseeing brand marketing and reputation, change management and corporate communications, building and fostering the "One dentsu" culture through strong external partnerships.
Jianhao Chen, a seasoned leader in software innovation and digital transformation, has been appointed to Chief Data and Solutions Officer, Greater North Asia, while concurrently continuing his role as Chief Technology Officer, Merkle China. In this expanded capacity, Jianhao will lead the Solution Center team to collaborate with dentsu’s Practices, harnessing advanced technologies to revolutionize client service through craft-enabling tools and comprehensive data sets. His expertise and experience will be instrumental in modernizing our approach and driving unparalleled value for our clients.
