dentsu China appoints Daniel Li as Head of Social Commerce for dentsu Media
dentsu China has appointed Daniel Li to the role of Head of Social Commerce for dentsu Media, effective on Jan. 21st, 2022. He will report to Deric Wong, Chief Executive Officer, dentsu China, in his capacity as acting Chief Executive Officer, dentsu Media China.
Daniel has devoted his career to communications for more than 20 years and has extensive experience across advertising, PR, eCommerce, digital, and social. Before joining dentsu, he was the General Manager of the East China region of Social Touch. There he led a full-function team to provide IMC, social marketing, social platform content creation and management services to international and domestic brands. Prior to that, Daniel worked at McCann Health as General Manager, VP of Strategy, Business Director at BlueFocus eCommerce, Managing Director at Razorfish Beijing and National Business Director of Ogilvy Health.
Daniel has operated at the intersection of culture, communications, and technology throughout his career and has consistently delivered innovative results-driven solutions for his clients. Daniel has also been recognised for multiple international and domestic awards, including the International Advertising Awards, China International Advertising Festival and China Advertising Digital Awards.
