Dentsu China appoints Hawk Liu as CEO of Merkle China
Dentsu China announces the appointment of Hawk Liu to the role of Chief Executive Officer, Merkle China, its customer experience management business (CXM). In his new position, Hawk will lead the acceleration of growth, performance, and greater integration across its CX consulting, data science, digital transformation, loyalty marketing and B2B services. The announcement comes after a period of capability integration and investment into key strategic areas of the Merkle business to provide existing and new clients with transformative solutions while cultivating and attracting the best talent in the market.
Hawk joins dentsu with more than 22 years of experience delivering digital transformation at Accenture, Deloitte Consulting, Dell, Capgemini and IBM. In his most recent role, he served as the Managing Director for Accenture China, leading the digital transformation practice for blue-chip brands, including Huawei and Tencent. Under his strategy, vision and direction, Accenture was able to achieve breakthrough in the highly competitive consulting market in China. Hawk's achievements can be attributed to his unique ability to unify teams to enable integrated digital transformation that results in new paths to growth, new ways to acquire and retain customers, and new ways to maximise the impact of marketing for sustained business outcomes.
