Dentsu Aegis Network China announces the launch of dentsumcgarrybowen, a global full-service creative agency combining best-in-class creative services and brand solutions, bringing together Beijing dentsu and mcgarrybowen. dentsumcgarrybowen will be leaders in idea-led brand transformation on a global scale.
dentsumcgarrybowen China will be led by Keita Ishikawa who as CEO will dual report into Michelle Lau, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network China and dentsumcgarrybowen Global Co-Presidents, Merlee Jayme and Jon Dupuis.
The China entity brings together more than 700 talented creative people, working across hubs in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Globally by leveraging these two award winning agencies, with Dentsu Brand Agencies’ creative reputation in Asia Pacific and mcgarrybowen’s ability to deliver ‘Big Organising Ideas’ through their strategic creative transformation platform, this new entity establishes an unrivalled creative agency network spanning the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe.
dentsumcgarrybowen is part of the newly formed Creative line of business at Dentsu Aegis Network that includes creative, content, design & experience agencies, including Isobar. Tammy Sheu, CEO of Isobar Group China becomes Co-Chair of the Creative line of business alongside Keita Ishikawa. As Co-Chair, Keita Ishikawa will lead dentsumcgarrybowen including dentsumcgarrybowen international, Dentsu Top, Dentsu One and Dentsu PR. Tammy Sheu continues as leader for Isobar Group China, including VeryStar.
